COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

School of Professional Education and Executive Development
Research Assistant (Ref. 250411-01)
[Appointment period: twelve months]
Duties
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the Research Grants Council (RGC) funded project – “Quality and Utilisation of Primary Care among Older Adults: Driving for Holistic Healthy Ageing in Hong Kong”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature review, data collection and analysis;
(b) assist in collecting data from private medical centres, public outpatient clinics, and elderly day centres, etc;
(c) assist in gathering tables and figures, analysing and presenting data from work undertaken;
(d) assist in drafting parts of the audio records and results sections for reports;
(e) coordinate and handle the procurement for the project, and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee may be required to work on shift duties as well as outdoor, on weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Health Studies, Health Services Management, Statistics, Social Sciences or related disciplines;
(b) positive work attitude and good analytical skills;
(c) strong communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and
(e) self-motivation, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
